Philip J. Leggio, Esq.
Born and raised on Long Island, Mr. Leggio has extensive experience litigating a wide-range of matters in federal and state courts, ranging from complex federal securities fraud class actions involving hundreds of millions of dollars in damages to minor landlord-tenant disputes.
Additionally, Mr. Leggio is well-versed in transactional matters such as contract drafting, corporate law, real estate, and estate planning.
Prior to founding his own law practice, Mr. Leggio worked for a nationally recognized securities litigation firm in Manhattan where he prosecuted complex securities fraud and corporate governance cases. Subsequently, Mr. Leggio worked for a boutique law firm where he focused on matters related to real estate and commercial litigation and transactional matters.
Mr. Leggio earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from St. John's University School of Law, where he served as the Associate Managing Editor of the St. John's Law Review, and his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Stony Brook University. While attending law school, Mr. Leggio served as a Judicial Intern in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York under the Honorable Joanna Seybert.
